MAMA 2016 BTS' Performance

(No pics since there wasn't anything on the search result that is decent enough to be here.)

This performance has to be my favourite BTS MAMA performance to date. The era itself as well is nice, the concept and everything. This performance has been the best I've seen from all their MAMA performances. So let's start with:

1. Intro: Boy Meets Evil performed by Hoseok and Jimin

This intro was amazing. A great way to introduce the audience to tthe dancing skills Hoseok and Jimin has. What I was sad about is that Hoseok didn't rap to Boy Meets Evil. But with the choreo, it's forgivable. Then, I got suprised. Jimin comes in with a blind fold. What I thought like what happened in the previous concerts, Jimin uses the blindfold for show. To make people understand what the song is about. (To clear up confusion, Boy Meets Evil, Hoseok's solo was mashed up with Jimin's solo, Lie. I'm basing what I predicted off previous Lie performances) But then, out of nowhere, he starts dancing like crazy with the blind fold. I was so suprised. People who attended MAMA, said that Hoseok was guiding Jimin because Jimin was indeed blinded by the blindfold. Others even saw Jimin closing his eyes beneath the blndfold. Knowing all that info, I tried to look for the little mistakes that he cvould commit. With the realization that he commited 0 errors. Even idols said the floor was slippery. Considering the choreo consisted more on jumps and and foot work, it was admirable the hardwork for the 2 dancers.

Let us move on to:

2. Blood, Sweat and Tears, performed by the group

The performance was amazingly sexy as it should be. This era was the sexiest I've seen BTS go and the live performances gave it justice. Jimin voice cracked but it was understandable for he literally had 0 singing background when he decided to join Bangtan. Jimin as well slipped but understandable for idols said themselves that it was a slippery stage. The slip of Jimin was almost unnoticable anyway since he handled it like a professional would. Next up:

3. Cut scene by Taehyung and Jin

These 2 actors (Tae being a professional actor and Jin being an acting major.) have been given justice. And it was given in the best way possible. I am not willing to spoil the cut scene so I'll leave you to watch it on the performance clip I'll be giving. The panic that Jin and Tae must've gone through... How much did they practice to not even laugh? And the scars on Taehyung's back... Give the artist a raise! Everything aboput the cut scene was amazing.

Let's move on to:

4. Fire performed by the group

The performance was filled by stage presence and enjoyment. It seemed like they were having lots of fun while being sexy.

Overall, this was an amazing performance. But the camera men didn't do their job correctly. All they did was show the light sticks, solo member, lightsticks then group. I feel bad that BTS even thought that they could've done better even though the only wrong thing was the camera work.
